BC_ hits 500 monuments – and 25 national parks in one weekend

Five hundred monuments. Twenty-five national parks. One weekend. BC_ has reached the 500th monument, and in the same weekend completed visits to 25 national parks within a single year.

The monument count did not come quickly. It is the result of years of travelling around the country, criss-crossing from one landmark to the next. The national park run was a sprint by comparison: 25 parks inside one year.

That both milestones landed on the same weekend was, according to the news shared on Facebook, pure chance. It was described there as almost mathematically unlikely. Few would argue.

Welcome to the club

The replies came fast. Players in the group welcomed BC_ into Club Mondo, one of the medal groups that takes years to reach. Others pointed out how rare it is: few players have taken the Club Mondo medal, even after more than two years.

Some turfers says the feat is hugely impressive, and that it felt out of reach for them.
